Multiple Events Insurance

A cost-effective policy which covers all your events

Multiple Events insurance provides a complete solution for those organising a series of events. Taking out this insurance also means that you will benefit from discounted premiums.

Our Multiple Events policy includes cover for the following:

Public Liability up to £10,000,000

Employer’s Liability up to £10,000,000

The equipment used at your events can also be added onto the cover.

What’s provided with Multi Events?

One Multi Event policy allows you to cover each of your individual events, with each lasting up to 3 consecutive days. For those organising or attending up to 45 of the same UK-based event within the year, this the simplest and most cost-effective solution.

If your events are longer than 3 days or outside the UK, please let us know as we can still look to provide cover suiting your exact requirements.

Cover

Our Multiple Events policy offers a range of covers and protections for your event. We provide cover for a variety of issues that can occur at the events you organise/attend throughout the year.

Our primary areas of cover are Public Liability, Employers Liability, and Event Equipment Insurance.

This policy comes in two standard packages:

Up to 15 events

Up to 45 events

Each event can last up to 3 consecutive days (this includes the set-up days, open days, and takedown days).

If needed, we can extend the individual events so that the policy meets your events’ requirements.

Public Liability

Public Liability is an essential cover which is taken out to meet the requirements of many event organisers, venues, and/or local authorities.  

Our Public Liability Policy covers you for the following:

Accidental bodily injury occurring to a member of the public and/or accidental damage to third party property (should the occurrences be proven to be a result of your neglect when at any event. This applies to the events you organise and/or events you are attending as a third party)

If deemed liable, this policy covers you for defence costs, claimant’s costs, damages, and expenses.

This cover can protect you from before the event starts whilst preparing and setting up, as well as during (when attendees are present).

What we don’t cover:

Property damage claims which are below the value of £250 as this is the excess of the policy

Damage or injuries occurring due to activities that we would consider unsafe. These include things such as the use of fireworks, vehicles, inflatables, circus, or stunt performances; as well as the use of projectiles.

Damage or injuries which arise out of a deliberate act, vandalism or is malicious in nature

Damage to flooring (other than carpeting), the ground or underground services.

Events that take place outside of the United Kingdom.

Employers Liability

If you have employees, volunteers, or helpers working at your event that fall outside of the organising committee, our Employers Liability cover may be appropriate.

Our Employers Liability cover protects you for the following:

Legal liability to pay damages, expenses, and claimant costs which arise as a result of anyone you employ been injured whilst present at your event; this includes temporary staff, helpers, and/or volunteers.

Regardless of whether your employees paid or unpaid, they must be under your supervision at the time of injury.

 

What we don’t cover:

The employees of any professional contractor or sub-contractor whose services you are employing. The company you are hiring for your party (i.e. caterers, first aiders, or professional security services) should have their own cover in place.

Any liability in respect of, or arising from road traffic accidents.

Events which take place outside of the UK

Event Equipment Insurance

Event Equipment relates to items which you bring yourself or hire out specifically for the event. These items do not include those that come as part of the fixtures/fittings of the venue.

Our Event Equipment Cover protects you for the following:

Accidental damage, loss, or theft to the event equipment which you are legally responsible for. Hired, leased, and/or owned event equipment is covered for the duration of your event.

In regard to your stock, we cover the wholesale value of the items, not the RRP.

What we don’t cover:

Losses where the repair or replacement of the equipment is below the value of £250 as this is the excess of the policy.

Wear and Tear, damage over time and issues from climactic conditions like damp or frost.

Theft where there is no forcible or violent entry or exit from any site; or where items have been left unattended and unsecured.

Event equipment in storage, when not being used for an event.

 We can also look to offer our Event Cancellation Cover, on an event by event basis should an event be costly to run. Please ask us for details about this.

Our Policy wording details all our exclusions and highlights what is meant by certain terms. It is important to read the policy wording before you take out insurance with us to confirm that our policy meets the needs of your event and you are adequately covered.
